Words may heal, words may hurt.
Words may make us feel special, words may make us feel insignificant.
Words may bring us closer; words may distance us from others.
There is immense power in the way we use words. The power, which is beyond our own imagination.
Now few questions to ponder over are:
Who gives power to these words? The one who uses words or the one who receives words?
What determines the power of these words? The tone, volume, pithch, intonation or the intention of the speaker?
Where we speak becomes more important or when we speak is important when we make use of words?
The purpose is more important or the manner?
Try to think of the answers and then think what do we mean when we say, action speaks louder than words. Now which has more power, the words or the actions?
Nice post Mam.
I think actions have more power.
Words can definitely help to win the world.
But the thing is that generations have developed the tendency to speak without thinking or speak the same things we always speak.
And may be that’s why generally the audio and video of people do not match.
If art of choosing words fits well with the actions then it is the magic itself.
Actions speaks louder than words when we mint words without thinking what to say.
We must follow what we were taught in primary school “aisi vaani boliye Mann ka aapa khoye! Apna Tan Sheetal Kare, Auran Ko Sukh Hoye”.
Very beautifully you have elaborated this post Prashant.
Many thanks.
Now let’s promise to use our words judiciously and ensure that we back them with our actions well.
I promise.
Great!
