This Diwali: May we be Enlightened

It’s homecoming of Rama after completing his journey and purpose of his birth. It’s celebration of victory over evil.

It’s worshipping of Ganesha, Riddhi, Siddhi and Laxmi. Through them, a worshipping of the self, intellect, wealth and human capabilities that are bestowed and unveiled through our evolutionary progress.

Its celebration of the truth, of the light.

Our human quest is to experience an uninterrupted peace within, an inner joy that lasts forever like placid water without ripples.

In that water, the reflection is clear, like a polished mirror.

This Diwali, like every year we do, we take the journey within, of knowing the self, of polishing the mirror by simply doing what we do, the way we do and while doing what we do, we become aware.

Aware of everything: of past,  present and future that melt into this moment.

And then we go beyond that knowing, for the breakthrough would happen. That breakthrough shall answer everything.  And then there shall be no questions and answers.

We shall live life, in complete acceptance of unveiling of the events, embracing it with sublime surrender.

May we reach a step closer of knowing the self.

May this Diwali, we be enlightened!
