Where have they all been so far? Hiding? Germinating? Those Vrittis?
Well, inside all of us. All the times.
So have been with our virtues. They have been latent inside us, all the times.
Purity and Honesty are hard-earned virtues. The purer we become in our quest and intentions, the path becomes brighter and clearer. When obstacles come in the way, they pave the way further. That’s the beauty of purity and honesty.
When the mind is pure, the joy overflows says Buddha. The only caution, to be aware of the mind’s trickiness, pacify and make it calmer through surrender, submission and selflessness in actions.
The pleasures of the world are all ephemeral until we all tune in to our inner selves and work on the inner nature that makes the outer world shine in its manifestations. For the inner mirrors the outer.
The attachments, insecurities, fear, ego, and all the other vrittis are present in the mind. So when we have a strong attachment to something, that is bound to give us pain, uneasiness.
On the contrary, when we accept, believe and realize through consistent efforts that nothing belongs to us, at that moment, everything comes to us and becomes ours. That‘s liberation. Nirvana. That’s what we all aspire and wish for. Don’t we?
Sometimes our insecurities and fear overpower all of us in such a way that they make us behave and think in a way that seems strange to ourselves even when we watch ourselves from a distance. The irony, we aren’t able to share with others what our internal stories are and how each one of us has that fear of loss or fear of the unknown.
Gradually, we all start sinking in, until the last bubble to which we hold on to gives us life, gives us hope. Holding on to that last ray, we continue to walk until we see the light removing the darkness, our ignorance.
Today, just try anything from your life that you have been attached to. Offer it to the almighty, surrender saying all belongs to you and nothing is mine. At that moment, see the miracle taking place. The smile on your face. All wish being fulfilled at that moment itself as if, everything has always been with you and yours-eternally, forever!
