2016 was amazing and full of learning.
My immense regards and gratitude to it!
I am writing this post early in the morning because in 2017, I want to publish my post at the beginning of the day and not after Sun set. This sounds like a resolution, doesn’t it. Yes, it is, so here is my first resolution for Blogging. To publish my posts before 7 AM on every 10th, 20th and 30th. Sounds great!
I’m planning to write in small pockets of time today since I have other commitments to follow. So, I shall keep sharing the lessons with you, stay tuned.
Here comes Lesson 1: The Gift of Gratitude
While I follow expressing my gratitude to wonderful things in life, I also implemented gratitude principle on situations, people, things and circumstances that did not go as I expected and wanted them to be. Result! Contentment, happiness and peace. A changed perspective to look at the things. Everything that looked chaotic, unexpected and frustrating, just by saying thanks, changed their make-up and looked meaningful and fulfilling. So, with me, be always ready to say, thank you, for what is going in your life as you wish and what is not going in your life as you wish, both deserve your equal focus and expression of gratitude. Sounds Superb! The next words, thanks and Gratitude.
Here comes Lesson 2: The Magic of Writing your Goals
There is magic. You can see it. When you write your goals on paper. You become Aladdin and your goals written on paper as Genie. When Aladdin and Genie work together, magic is bound to happen.
There is abundance of research on this, when you write your goals on paper, there are more chances (I read, but forgot the percentage) of chasing those goals and taking consistent efforts to accomplish them.
See, I have written one goal at the beginning of the post. Find it, it is highlighted. You too have seen the magic and power of written goals, haven’t you? Now the next questions are: how to set goals, which one and why? That’s your call because you are Aladdin! My recommendation, write your goals and see their magic in 2017.
Here comes Lesson 3: The fun in taking Small Steps
You have read it over hundred times, let me say it once more. The journey of a thousand mile begins from a single step. Yes, if I talk about my blogging journey, I would say, I took my first step on 4th February 2014, and within these 2 years, I have written more than 90 posts. It feels encouraging, believe me, taking small steps is a great fun!
Now when I look at the amount of posts produced, it is no less than a book. What I did? Just took a single step, writing one blog post at a time.
I want to re-emphasise, just take a single step in the direction of your goals and dreams and enjoy your journey. You would never know, when would you cover miles just by taking small, consistent and persistent steps in your focused direction.
Your focus will on distance covered than distance remaining, your focus will be on relishing the journey, than waiting for the time to reach the finish line. Your each step would be your destination and the struggle to reach to the finish line will be over.
