Oceanic we

We haven’t explored the profundity of our inner selves. Its vastness and endlessness that glues and propels each one of us.

This inner self is that untouched and unexplored horizon of our self that we are unconscious of. The glimpses of its vastness come to our notice every day when we are absorbed into our pursuits, when we tap our energy and experience something from our collective consciousness and get glued to it through that power of the moment lived. A state of complete involvement where we transcend the perception of body, place, mind, and all the perceived contexts. The endlessness moves us forward to ensure that there is a lot, that needs attention and absorption of the self.

In this oceanic self of who we are, the physical aspect of the self is visible and tangible, it is the unseen and intangible aspect, that makes it’s a spiritual quest. A quest that quenches the soul, once we embark upon. Parts of the self that we are aware of and others are not. Parts that neither we, nor others are aware of, needs to be tapped and explored. This makes self an enigma to be solved. Yet, one of the most meaningful and fulfilling exercises to be encapsulated in.

Its understanding may evolve through a breakthrough or by engaging in an ongoing conscious pursuit. Trust, we have to, the process. Get going. Episodes would unveil and find their meaning. Meaning that would change as we evolve and progress. And in the process we start understanding of this oceanic self, this allows us to accept of our eccentricities, of the self, the way we are in this birth, and establishes an affinity with others, who are part of our oceanic self, that we understand and accept, as we evolve and progress.

Since it is oceanic, its depth and profoundity seem to be immeasurable and untraceable. And thus, going within allows us to look at all those aspects of it, that are limited by our perceptions. From form to formlessness we move. From acceptance of life in every moment we live. A smile imprints, on the face and the psyche. There I am, present, moving and waiting.
