Every Act

Early morning, chirping of birds was making him forget some of the questions that have occupied most of his mind since last night.

And then he interrogated himself, if those questions were very important or relevant, then he would have remembered them or if they had been very pressing, they wouldn’t have allowed him to pay attention to those soulful twitters.

“What should I do then, ask those questions to Master or try to resolve them myself,” thought Pallav.

Brooding over them for sometime, he then decided to iron all his clothes today. He picked up all his robes and then kept them aside. A heap of clothes mountain was ready asif in front of him, allowing those questions to rest and dwell there.

One at a time, a clothe he picked, checked the temperature and then put the iron on the area where he had sprinkled the water.

The wrinkles seemed disappearing and shining on the robe made him smile. The robe looked fresh and new. Spic and span, meticulously laid on his table. Then the next pair of clothes he picked. The ironing erased lines and he felt it rubbed off many of his doubts and queries also.

Smiled he and felt relieved. For now he related and remembered what Master had told him in the previous meeting. Every Act is important. Do it lovingly, carefully and diligently. Because if you want to know…

“Finding reasons and understanding why something happened is the most important thing. What you learnt and how you evolved is the only thing that matters in the end.”
