For an hour

He has always been amidst his books and gadegts. In Kitchen now! It was strage for him. His Yellow and red garbs were alluring but he wasn’t used to of wearing this.

At the Bramhali today, it was a festive to serve the food to all the villagers. From the local vegetable of tarloi, jhanka and qumba they were to prepare their curry soupy vegetable along with a sweet dish that would be served at the end of the meal.

Dorjee and Sanghaya were absorbed in the kitchen and Rudraksh had the task to prepare all the plates from the banana leaves. He hadn’t done this before and found this exercise exciting at the same time very frustrating for he didn’t feel comfortable working with people who would talk in their own language and he would simply participate without providing the answers to all what they would ask.

It was his participation with them that made him feel uncomfortable more than the task of making those plates that he had to make.

While Dorjee and Sanghaya were absorbed and relishing every bit and part of their work in the kitchen, contrary to that, Rudraksh was somehow wasn’t in his elements being amidst the medows and jungles picking the fresh leaves of larger size, folding them, pinning them and then making those plates ready for the feast today.

Besides this, he also had to work with others to prepare the Pandal and then make arrangements for the sitting and the entire feast.

Unknown and unfamiliar with this kind and nature of work, he felt nervous and somehow reluctant to participate and felt like joining Dorjee and Sanghaya. The Master hadn’t allowed him to work with them, he had to abide by his words.

Not knowing how to find peace and solace amidst the work, he rushed to Dorjee and asked for the help. Sanghaya understood the cause and asked him to sit by his side and spend some time with them. Just observe, don’t ask, you shall find your answer and then do what you want.

For an hour, in one of the corners he kept sitting and watching them. After an hour he stood and then walked towards his Pandal.

Dorjee asked “What happened… all well?”

Replied Rudraksh “Found my answer.”

“How and what?”

“Self probing, answer for the first; for second, find ways to make it interesting,” smilingly replied Rudraksh and then walked away.
