She cladded in pink chikan embroided suit, I remember that. I was with Papa, she was with Uncle ji.
As room mates and hostel mates, we share a bag full of memories. From cakes and matthies, birthdays and anniversaries, poems and stories, problems and their remedies, sibling rivalry, envy and jealousies, insecurities and possessiveness, lessons and love, friendships and trust, with each other we have been in many dreams.
Banasthali has changed now, so have we. In a state of deeper understanding we have reached. Embracing the change with grace, we are walking on the roads of life to witness the unknown, in different ways.
Jiya her daughter, Vicky Vikash her husband, beloved family and friends and a few souls that complete her world. Challenges in life, a turn and a gateway that she had not imagined for her, opened on Feb 4, 2017 when Vicky was diagnosed with Meningoencephalitis. She is in Vellore for his treatment and rehabilitation.
A culinary queen she is, as I have always found her passionately cooking and serving others. Today, despite being a non-medico, talk to her and you might believe her for a medical professional giving advice. Her dexterity, skillfulness and sparkling intelligence combined with her confidence has always inspired everyone who have talked and met her.
In my life, her presence has rooted the meanings and lessons of friendship, happiness, faith, love, and inner fulfillment.
Today, she embarks on a new journey. A journey of self dependence and self reliance. She writes on her blog, her musings and stories of journies. May she be always happy, full of love and peace in her life, are my eternal prayers for her.
