My Opponent

“Could you reply to his letter?”

“No, I couldn’t because I am still pondering over it and there was this practice match in the morning and then I visited the library and had some discussions with Master Willsum, then we went to forests to collect some timbre and woods. I had my services at the kitchen due and I visited and served there and not to forget my Almirah and drawers were calling me desperately for I had promised I would spend some quality time making them airy and spacy and organised and neat and tidy and clean. Prayers then.”

“Ah! How about your mother? How’s is doing? You mentioned you need to visit your home because she isn’t keeping well. Wouldn’t it be fine to let Kartavya know about it, if he gets time, he can visit your place if you happen to visit there.”

“Yes, thanks for taking care bro and being so concerned. You’re right. I have already purchased a shawl and few woollens and warm clothes for Maa and a head cap and hand gloves of her choice. I am sure she will be happy to wear them. Pastel shades she loves. Nothing can give me more happiness than seeing a sparkle on her face. Now I think, I can buy some local toys for Vedant he would love them and take some edibles for Shruti.”

“That sounds a cool idea Aum. Let me help you with tickets if you want and some online stuff if you need aid there,”winked Rudraksh.

“Haha” chuckled Aum. “How many favours you want to add into my account Rudraksh?” Teasingly asked Aum.

“You can count as many as possible Aum,” placidly replied Rudraksh.

“By the way I wanted to share that I have finished my reading of Inner Landscape and their Revelations and waiting for discussion.”

“Hey, that’s what I have been waiting to hear from you. Let’s freeze day after tomorrow. After meeting with Master Swastika we can discuss and talk at length. It would bring new interpretations for me. Before going from here, I would be happy to spend some time with you. We can call Sanghaya and Dorjee also.”

“Why not?”

“And did you think about that boy? Shall we call him here.”

“Well I need not tell you, in Kartavya’s writing only you could see the clue. The boy can find some of the answers here. It is not the financial need that is pressing. It’s sadness in his eyes that probably wants an addressing here at Monastery. That’s what I could decipher.”

“I agree Aum.”

“Write to him by night today. I can remind you again.”

“Thanks, I shall.”

“Put on your soccer shoes now. You know, you’re my opponent in the field.”

Loudly laughed Rudraksh and they both walked towards the field with ball in their hands.
