Zazen

The breeze freeze in the morning when the spine chilling cold just make us unmovable. The coziness comforts grabbing a cup of tea, giving warmth and energy to work in full swing. Pouring the tea in the cup, sipping it, that’s Zazen. Focus. Filling. Emptying.

A check list; or a to do list person that I am, I often find myself weird and in an awkward situation when I am unable to see the way I work, organize or perform the things. I know its with each one of us. Whatever it be, what works best for us, whatever brings out the best within us, we must go for it, no matter how strange or wierd it may sound or look. That’s the way of filling ourselves to the brim.

These eccentricities, working styles, obsessions make us who we are at this point of time, the blind spots that we are unable to see ourselves and need help of others to be a better version of ourselves besides being madly in love with the self, we extend and stretch everyday, making mistakes, working on assignments and projects, letting go and losing ourselves with family, work and everything that we melt in and merge with. That’s how we empty ourselves.

From morning till night. We fill ourselves. Sip in work and self. And then empty ourselves. That’s Zazen.

In practice. In Zazen.
